About us

The hand behind the gelato.

After years in fashion and abroad, something was missing — and it only became clear in Costa Rica: a small, unassuming gelato shop that made something remarkable out of simple ingredients. That moment stayed.

Back in South Tyrol, the view opened up to what grows right outside the door. A region full of extraordinary products — and inside it, the idea: a gelato manufaktur of our own. Mano means hand. It stands for the craft and the many steps behind every scoop — no shortcuts, and the conviction that good things take time.

We're not just interested in sweetness, but in how flavors harmonize. That's why salty, bitter, and umami notes find their way into our recipes too. Flavors that are sometimes familiar — and sometimes surprising.
